Technology of Seabob
Under the ceramic-coated hood of the SEABOB is a strong piece of technology. The worldwide patented E-Jet power system works on the basis of suction. All rotating compartments are of course completely shielded so that you cannot get between them with hands, feet or fingers. The Jet drive sucks in water at the front and blows it to move. Due to the use of salt water resistant materials, oxidation and rust are excluded. You will also find 2 large lithium units inside the SEABOB to ensure sufficient power, every ride again. The current runs via a powerful and low-noise electric motor to the carbon drive shaft with the propeller attached. This is in the E-jet power system. All this is managed from the internal control software for perfect control and a fantastic water sports experience!

Control and cockpit
The SEABOB is extremely easy to use. Basically, the entire control consists of only 4 buttons, the 2 intelligent control grips and a trigger. The operation of these parts feels very easy and natural, making it possible for everyone to sail away within minutes. The gears are determined with the green and red button. The trigger on the control grip is intended to accelerate and immediately serves as a stop. As soon as you release the trigger, the SEABOB stops automatically. The other two buttons are for going through the control management so you can adjust the preferences. You steer simply by shifting your weight/pressure. The intelligent control grips, by shifting the pressure, steer the SEABOB.
You can read and set all essential data on the clear TFT screen in the cockpit. Think of a number of standard functions such as battery status, power level or acceleration, water temperature and depth. There are also a number of advanced functions available on the display. For example, it is possible to indicate a maximum water depth. The SEABOB does not go below this programmed depth, which is ideal for diving (*beginning divers often go to 18m), but also for playing below the surface with, for example, a maximum depth of 2 or 3 meters where the SEABOB optionally switches off automatically . When you have the 2 Full-HD cameras on the SEABOB (standard with the F5SR, optional with the F5S and F5), you can also show these images on the TFT display.
Accessibility
Start and use
All SEABOBS come with a so-called USERPIN. This is a unique pin code to start and use the SEABOB. Without this USERPIN the SEABOB is useless. Partly because of this, theft and misuse can be kept to a minimum.
Camera
To make your experience even more complete and relive your ride, SEABOB has developed a great camera system. It has both a Full-HD camera on the front to capture the fantastic underwater world, for example, as well as a Full-HD display cam. The cameras are activated at the touch of a button. The image from the camera on the nose appears on your TFT display so that you can see exactly what you are filming and you are assured of the best images. The movies made are stored in the onboard memory. You can easily read the internal memory via WiFi, telephone or tablet. This way you can share your ride where you want and with whom you want.
Colors
The SEABOB is available in all conceivable colours, designs and combinations. From a matt version to a full multi-colour high-gloss finish is possible. Below you see a number of examples of possible color combinations, but of course personal wishes are possible. In addition to color schemes, there is also the Black package or chrome package. This concerns the color scheme around the control unit and rear. The standard options may differ per model.
